ABOUT US
Karen Lee Miller
Managing Partner
Karen Lee Miller obtained her Bachelors Degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Connecticut (Storrs), a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University and her Juris Doctorate from Western New England University. She was born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut where she was educated through the public school system.
Attorney Miller started her legal career as a clerk in New Haven, Connecticut. She then went on to work in the Real Estate department at a mid-size firm in Hartford. Here she handled summary process ( eviction) matters statewide for various Banks and purchase, sales, refinances, equity lines and reverse mortgages for clients. Ms. Miller left this firm to work as In House Attorney for the Housing Authority of the City of Bridgeport, where she handled all of their summary process actions and served as the MBE/WBE/Section 3 Compliance Officer. Ms. Miller later returned to firm in Hartford to serve a different role in the Consumer Real Estate department where her focus shifted to working with many first time home buyers. In 2017, Attorney Miller ventured out and hung her own shingle.
Ms. Miller prides herself on the availability that she delivers to her clients. She is accessible by phone, email and text messages whenever a question or concern may arise.
Ms. Miller lives with her husband, Dakota and their 3 sons, in Bridgeport. In her free time she works on projects to help the city and community. She also continues to work with first time home buyers and teaches the Closing portion of the 8 Hour CHFA Class, Landlord Tenant Class, and the Foreclosure Prevention Class with Building Neighborhoods Together.
